Where we learn about our group benefits
Group benefits
After 3 months of service with Creative Roots Landscaping you will participate in our group benefits plan. The provider is BCCA Employee Benefit Trust and the plan is adjudicated through Pacific Blue Cross. CRL pays for half of your monthly premiums. Your portion is deducted from your pay cheques as Group Benefits taxable and non-taxable deductions. This plan covers you and your spouse, partner as well as children.
Current premiums – annual renewal January 1st
Approximate Total monthly premiums:
- Single $165/month
- Family $400/month
Employee portion deducted per bi-weekly paycheque :
- Single – Employee portion $47 per pay cheque
- Family – Employee portion $135 per pay cheque
You will be required to complete the enrolment form before you complete your 90 days of probation. If your spouse has a plan, both will be coordinated, ensure you include their policy information on the enrolment form. You cannot opt out of the entire plan, however you can opt out of the extended health and dental plan.
