What You’ll Be Doing

As a Maintenance Foreman, you’ll work closely with our Maintenance Client/Team Manager to ensure each day runs smoothly and every client’s property is maintained to the highest standards.

• Oversee and schedule daily and weekly maintenance tasks for your team.
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards, inspecting properties for perfection.
• Lead and train team members, promoting growth through our Creative Roots training program.
• Manage tools, materials, and equipment, ensuring they are ready, safe, and on-site when needed.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, acting as a trusted contact for clients.
• Think and act like an owner, embracing responsibility and contributing to company success.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with both the technical skills and leadership ability to excel in this role.

• Experience: 3+ years in the industry, with proven leadership experience.
• Education: Horticultural Certificate preferred; IPM Certificate and WCB First Aid are assets.
• Skills: Expertise in maintaining lawns, shrub beds, water features, irrigation systems, lighting, and plant care (annuals, perennials, hedges, trees).
• Leadership: Ability to inspire and guide a team while maintaining focus and efficiency.
• Organizational Skills: Time management, scheduling, and attention to detail are critical.
• Customer Service: Exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering value to clients.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with Zone 5a and 6a plants common to Kelowna.
• CIT Level 2 Certification.
• Hardscape knowledge or installation experience.
